lop ear rabbit! when I was in secondary school, I really really wanted a lop ear rabbit as pet. I would spent hours reading up on them and looking at their pictures on the net. and I remember showing my papa pictures of them, trying to convince him to get me one as pet.

of course, I didnt get my way. my mum refused to let me get one.

after numerous change in date/plan, we finally found a date where the 3 of us are free :D
shopped at DFS and look leen got herself a Marc by Marc Jacobs tote bag!

am looking tired with only 3 hours of sleep :x

great to have gfs staying in the same area! one of the many benefits are we can head home together after a dinner :)

on our way back, I am reminded of our days in secondary school.
on days where theres a 'spotcheck exercise' which means we can no longer hide our textbooks in class, we flag a cab and lugged our heavy textbooks home.

and last night, there we are, in a cab, in the same seating arrangement, alighting at the same place

just like 6 years ago minus the apple green uniform (and maybe look a tad older ;)

gosh, most of them are so young! other than the NTU interns there, I am like one of the oldest temp staff.

the best thing about working here are: Shopping at Zara during lunch, the awesome hawker food at Zion, gossipy sessions with QianJun who sit opposite me, found another Topshop lover, Kelly and meeting the rest who kindly wait for us to lunch together on many occasion :)

theres a reason why I like to work during school holidays.

as much as I hate squeezing in the train, the early hours and how lazy and whiny I am. I still do like it.

yes, partly because of the monetary gain and a large part because theres always something to learn at every new workplace I go to. the experience is priceless.

at some, you get nice colleagues, friends who click with you and awesome working environment (read: Nobel Biocare event/ SIWW 2009).

while at others, there's tons of office politics going on and it gets really ugly when you see what length people goes to, just to protect themselves. you come to realise that working hard is never enough and very often, the people who got promoted aren't the ones who work the hardest. and in times like this, you question if integrity or work ethics exist.
(p.s: it's just a thought! not implying/referring to anywhere I worked before! :)

and no matter what past achievement you had, the moment you enter a workplace, you start from ground zero, together with the rest.

the hammies will be staying with me for the time being and I bought them a new cage! both hammies are in the cage, but they are hiding!

I didnt get the floral dress from Zara though. mama bought it for me.

and, I finally got my SD card! I went to Harvey Norman telling the guy I wanna get a SD card for my Sony camera. he went on to inform me that Sony product dont use SD card, so I should get a memory stick instead. went home happily with the memory stick only to realise that it doesn't fit at all :( went over for an exchange and this is what happened:

me: I would like to exchange blar blar blar...your colleague told me this is for Sony camera.. blarblarblar.
guy: Miss, your camera is Casio not Sony, you do know that right.
me: *embarrassed* oh yah, my camera is Casio.

=.=" fml

in my defense, it isn't mine and honestly, i never really take note of the brand and I just have the impression its Sony because it really really look like a Sony camera (Cybershot)! aiyah, in short, I bonia.

and, I am working part time at Ministry of Manpower (MOM) now. gotta love working opposite Great World City! we get to shop around Zara during lunch break and the sales at Zara is pretty good! tons of pretty designs available there! :):) you girls will love it there!

the moment I stepped in, I was like OMG!
I have no idea if this is on par with the other Universal in the world, but for SG standard, this is wow+ out of the world! I dont even feel like I am in SG until of course, it gets hotter and hotter in the noon.

this is the seat for indoor roller coaster. grumpy cause I have no guts to take it. I can only sit at the seat placed outside and imagine.

theres no queue but we didnt went in. after walking around the whole place, we decide that we wanna take the Treasure Hunter ride, the queue is 60mins ._. " FOL.

thats the 'boat' for our escape from the hungry T-Rex.


*spoiler* skip this part if you haven take the Rapid Adventure ride.

the boat will move down the stream in circular motion. just like the kids teacup ride. then enter a pitch dark tunnel with T-Rex roaring somewhere in the dark.
the highlight? the boat will be elevated to a height in the darkness then took a sudden drop. thats when you successfully escape from the Hydroelectric plant (in the abv pic)

see that splash? the boat is somewhere behind the splash.
do buy a $2 disposable raincoat if you wanna take this ride.

I wore the raincoat but my hair still gt wet. the water stink btw. fml. anyway, the girl sitting next to me without raincoat had it worse. she was drenched.


next up, Waterworld. It's exactly the same as the one in Japan according to yf.






The waterworld show is awesome! those angmoh actor/actress are amazing!
Im pretty sure if they dont work for Universal, they can be Hollywood stuntman.

seriously, I really like this movie. its a little like killers. but way better.
more action, funnier and just way better.
I even prefer this to Eclipse (not that I like Eclipse alot though but you know, its like the hottest movie now.). anyway Eclipse is better than Twilight, I guess they are improving? I read all the four Twilight books and yeah well, I like the books. the books is like how romantic, their love that conquer all but seriously the movie is reallllly boring.

throughout the movie, Edward gives emo face. Bella gives emo face.
seriously, that wolf is the only one smiling.
